Rotagal 15ml – Inactivated Vaccine for Cattle

Target Species

• Cattle (pregnant cows and heifers).

Composition

This vaccine contains inactivated antigens that help newborn calves develop colostral immunity against rotavirus, coronavirus, and Escherichia coli.

Presentation

• 15ml glass vial.

Indications for Use

The vaccine is used for the preventive immunization of pregnant cows and heifers against rotavirus, coronavirus, and colibacillosis-induced diarrhea.
It helps newborn calves develop immunity, reducing the severity of diarrhea and mortality rates.

• Immunity is transferred through colostrum feeding.
• Vaccination is carried out in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Dosage & Administration

Each 3ml dose contains:

• Bovine rotavirus strain TM-91 (G6P1);

• Bovine coronavirus strain C-197;

• Escherichia coli strain EC/17 with adhesion antigen F5 (K99);

• Adjuvant: Montanide ISA 206 VG.

• Single injection 3-12 weeks before calving.

Colostrum Feeding

• Calves must receive colostrum within 6-8 hours after birth.
• It is recommended to collect the first colostrum from vaccinated cows and provide 2.5-3.5 liters daily for calves up to 2 weeks of age.

Storage Conditions

• Store at +2°C to +8°C.
• Do not freeze!
• Once opened, the vaccine must be used within 10 hours.
