oxytocin

                                  Hormonal remedy

Composition: 1 ml of the drug contains 10 IU of oxytocin

Indications for use: It is used for female animals of cattle and small cattle, horses, pigs, dogs and cats, during weak labor, bleeding from the uterus, placental retention, atony, hypotonia, acute postpartum inflammation and subinvolution of the uterus mastitis, reflex agalactia.

The use of oxytocin has been shown to accelerate the removal of the placenta in cows on the first day after parturition. In the postpartum period, oxytocin is used to accelerate uterine involution. Oxytocin is indicated to accelerate uterine involution after manual alignment for uterine prolapse in dogs.
