Description: Clear, colorless solution
Presentation form: 10 ml brown glass vial, closed with a rubber stopper, aluminum seal and polypropylene seal.

Atipamezole hydrochloride . . .5 mg
Atipamezole hydrochloride is an α2-antagonist that blocks α2-receptors, increases the release of noradrenaline and stimulates the sympathetic nervous system. This process neutralizes the effects of medetomidine and dexmedetomidine, quickly restores the animal to normal, promotes wakefulness and the ability to move. The drug is rapidly absorbed after injection, the maximum effect is observed within 10-15 minutes, and is excreted from the body through metabolism, mainly in the urine.
Indications for use
The drug Antimed is used to neutralize the effects of medetomidine or dexmedetomidine in order to restore the animal to normal. It quickly removes the sedative effect and improves the condition of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
Directions for use and dosage
Antimed 0.5% is injected intramuscularly (IM) once, 15-60 minutes after the injection of medetomidine or dexmedetomidine. The effect occurs within 5-10 minutes.
Wild and ruminant animals, pigs, horses, dogs: Antimed dose (mcg/kg) is 5 times the dose of medetomidine. The dose in ml is the same as the dose of medetomidine.
Cats: Antimed dose (mcg/kg) is 2.5 times the dose of medetomidine. The dose in ml is half the dose of medetomidine.
Note: If necessary, the injection can be repeated after 10-15 minutes.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC, in the original packaging, in a dry, light-protected place, separate from food products.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Shelf life
2 years, after opening the bottle, use within 28 days.
